Earth Day 2008

Emergent would like to wish everyone a very happy Earth Day. We may look back years from now at this Earth Day, and see it as a true transition point between our polluting past and sustainable future. These times are a turning point in politics, in legislation, in education, in business, in our lifestyle choices, and in everything we are familiar with. We cannot fail to move into a more sustainable way of life, our existence depends upon it.

Some Spring Cleaning

Steve has graciously committed his Friday evening to Emergent by organizing our massive mound of receipts, reports, binders, and other startup detritus. We’re doing some real spring cleaning tonight to get us in shape to hit the renewable energy market with force! We’re at the starting line, palms pressed to the pavement, anxiously awaiting the POWWWWW of the start pistol.

Community Wind Power ‘08

Jayson and Jesse have travelled out to Albany, New York for Community Wind Power 2008, a national conference on community-scale wind power planning, finance, and development. The guys will be in Albany on Monday 4/14 and Tuesday 4/15. If you need to get in touch with Jesse for any reason during these two days, feel free to give him a call on his cell:306.420.0829. This is a perfect venue for Emergent, since communities are our specialty.

Emergent Web Launch!

I’m rapturously honored to write the first “official” blog post for the launch of the new, and most definitely improved Emergent website! The site is easy to navigate, just hit the folder tabs above and then look to the menu on the left to dive deeper into Emergent Wind, Solar, or CO2. Look to these news casts in future to find out more on what’s happening with us. Enjoy and thanks! *Jared
